Open for every registered participant (for beer supply see below).
Since we cannot have a conference dinner in presence, we invite you to a virtual beer tasting.
The region of Bamberg is known for its high density of breweries (in fact one of the highest in the world). The city of Bamberg counts 11 breweries; the region around Bamberg has about 60. Accordingly, the range of beer on offer is very diverse. In contrast to the rather hoppy, tart notes in the north of Germany, you will find smooth beers in the south.
Join us when we taste six Bamberg beers and learn more about tradition, manufacturing processes and anecdotes of the Bamberg brewery landscape.
Due to current events, we decided to handle the booking and shipping externally. When you want your own beer package delivered to you, please order it externally from hier-gibts-bier.de (this also applies to the people that already stated in their registration that they were interested in the virtual beer tasting!)
Please make sure to order your package such that it will arrive in time for the conference. Also please note the longer shipping periods and higher shipping costs for delivery to countries besides Germany.
